About the Sanctuary

A slice of paradise just outside Holywell in North Wales where previously unwanted animals have now found their forever home and a variety of special healing services are available within our tranquil space.

Who  are we?

My name is Katey Brownbill, and for as long as I can remember I have been passionate about compassion! I have felt a deep connection with nature, wildlife and animals my entire life, and have pledged to dedicate the rest of it to creating a healing sanctuary for people and animals to come and feel safe, at peace, and loved.

This magical space has been carefully created for holistic therapies, connecting with the elements, spending time with the animals, and finding your creative wisdom.

What do we do?

Just under 2 acres of land, outside our family home in the quaint village of Brynford is dedicated to housing over 50 animals in need.

Now established as a healing sanctuary for both the animals who live here and the people who come to visit, this is a space where we welcome those who wish to immerse themselves in nature and heal from the inside out.

We offer a range of holistic therapies, wellbeing services and retreats.  Check out Komaia for more details!

How do we do it?

We have a gorgeous, tranquil cabin which is home from home for our freelance holistic therapists and wellbeing specialists, who are available for individual appointments or as part of our healing retreats

If you are interested in joining us as a holistic therapist or healing practitioner, please get in touch.

Day to day we work super hard and are looking for volunteers to help us fundraise and dedicate some of their spare time to help out at the Sanctuary, which in itself is a beautifully healing and immersive experience for both the animals and the people involved.
